This beautiful Antique Art Nouveau French brooch is modelled in the shape of a coiled serpent. It features intricate detailing on the head with a gorgeous Garnet inset, weighing approx. 0.75ct.

The brooch features the mark TITRE FIXE. ‘Fixe’ is the process of high quality hot gold foil laminating onto brass and was first created in France in the early 19th century.

A lovely piece of jewellery and history, this brooch would look great on a lapel.
